Bon Appetite, Let’s Eat is the children’s Cooking Class Mantra!
Lil’ Chefs enjoy hands on cooking as they acquire an appreciation for food preparation. Children will begin to develop a lifelong awareness of good food choices as they whip up nutritious, de’lish recipes.
Encouraging children to taste something new.
Chef Heather explains to students, “In order to be a good chef you need to taste and smell the ingredients that go into your food.”
Our recipe for success:
Our Cooking Club utilizes a creative mix of preschool learning and readiness skills. Each class stresses the importance of safety and sanitation in the kitchen and is sure to dish out a unique, creative outlet for your child. In addition to following a recipe and preparing a special dish each week, our lil’ chefs will have hands on experiences using a variety of culinary tools. Dehydrating fruits and vegetables, baking kale chips, preparing teas from scratch are just a few of the culinary dishes our lil’ chefs will create.
