Reading Club

Our Kids Reading Classes for children ages 3 to 6 – consist of a 1.5 hour session, 1 day per week.

Give your child the gift of reading with our Reading Class for Kids!

If a three-year-old can see a truck or a doll and name it, why can’t they say “a” when they see the letter a? The belief is that reading is not as fun or as interesting as a truck or a doll is to a child, unless you have some very silly teachers to show the children otherwise. Kids Club House has those teachers! Reading Club offers shows, games, and interactive play activities drilling letter sounds and sight words. Many parents tell us their children start expressing an interest to know more as we create an enthusiasm and realization that they can in fact learn to read.

When we see “Aa”, we say “a” as the first step to becoming a successful reader.

A majority of the children who graduate from our Reading Club classes are placed in advance reading programs at the elementary level. Better than that, they are enjoying the fun of reading at an early age and actually ask for more as they develop confidence in their learning ability.

Teach them to read before they even get the idea that reading might be too hard! Catch them while their minds are free and open to take in the information. We promise to keep it silly and fun as they are given the gift of early reading skills.

STEM Club

Preschool STEM: Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math Classes for children ages 4 to 6 – consists of a 1.5-hour session, 1 day per week.

Kids BLAST OFF into the world of wonder as they use their senses to explore, design, create and experiment.

Each week students have the chance to use their curiosity to explore, discover, and experiment while using scientific methods to find out why things do what they do, move like they move, or change like they change! Both indoor and outdoor exploration makes science absolutely amazing! Science surrounds us, inside and out.

Our STEM students will love using magnifying glasses, creating chemical reactions with kitchen ingredients, exploring stored energy and so much more.

There is an exciting and powerful link between STEM and early childhood.

Research confirms that the brain is particularly receptive to learning math and logic between the ages of 1 and 4, and that early math skills are the most powerful predictors of later learning.

STEM teaches children how to solve problems and ask questions.

Our STEM time is divided into ‘Investigations’, where our teachers will guide our students to use their skills in science, technology, engineering and math to explore the world around them. STEM teaches the children how to problem solve and ask inquiry based questions.

Art Club

Art Classes for children ages 3 to 5 – consists of a 1.5-hour session, 1 day per week.

Art Club will empower your child with the tools to take an idea from within and give it form!

In this process-oriented program, children explore self-expression through a variety of artistic concepts, mediums, and techniques. They are encouraged to trust in their own creative impulses as teachers expose them to drawing, painting, clay, collage, printmaking, music, construction, social studies, and more. Our qualified teachers provide inspirations to help trigger the creative process and get the children motivated to explore beyond self-imposed limits.

Fostering children’s artistic expression is not only fun; it can also enhance their cognitive skills.

According to the United States Department of Education, studies suggest a strong link between learning in the arts and the development of fundamental cognitive skills used to master other academic subjects, such as reading, writing and mathematics. Not only does our program cultivate artistic expressionism to help develop those skills, each Art Class offers free play in our imaginary play room, allowing children to connect and collaborate when participating in cooperative projects.

Kids in Motion

We explore the relationship between physical and mental well-being! Healthy bodies = Healthy Minds. Each week the children learn about an animal and participate in gross and fine motor activities related to that animal’s movement and lifestyle. We play group games and do activities like dance and yoga that strengthen balance and coordination

Mindful Me

Mindful Me: New for 2022!

We surveyed our esteemed Warwick Kindergarten teachers to find out where they see the “gaps” in readiness. The overwhelming feedback was a need for basic self-help skills, an understanding of how to act in a school setting, and social/emotional development. We created this program keeping this in mind. The goal of this social/emotional curriculum is to develop strong independent skills, foster an understanding of school expectations, and build healthy emotional development. These skills will be taught through playful group activities, puppetry, and carefully crafted learning centers.
