The Kids STEM Club (Science, Technology,Engineering, Math) is open to children ages 4 to 6 in the Warwick, New York and Vernon, New Jersey area.  It consists of a 1 1/2 hour session 1 day per week.

Kids Blast Off into the world of wonder in our preschool math and science program!

There is an exciting and powerful link between STEM and early childhood. Research confirms that the brain is particularly receptive to learning math and logic between the ages of 1 and 4, and that early math skills are the most powerful predictors of later learning.  Our STEM class time is divided into Investigations where the teachers are the guides, as the students use their skills in both science, technology, engineering and math to explore the world around them and teach the children how to solve problem and ask inquiry based questions.

A STEM curriculum designed to spark kids’ natural curiosity.

Recognition of numbers, their value, and sequencing along with a general understanding of addition/subtraction and a conceptual understanding of multiplication/division is taught through games and kid friendly activities.

The National Research Council, a well-respected group of academics based in Washington, says we spend a lot of time teaching preschoolers their ABC’s, but not nearly enough time teaching the 1-2-3’s.  WE AS EDUCATORS OF PRESCHOOLERS ARE CONTINUALLY AMAZED AT HOW CAPABLE THEY ARE IN THEIR ABILITY TO LEARN COMPLEX IDEAS AND CONCEPTS THROUGH GUIDED EXPLORATION.

Our Kids Math / Kids Science encourage curiosity in students throughout Orange County NY and Sussex County NJ, including: Warwick, Pine Island, Greenwood Lake, Bellvale, Florida, New Hampton, Westtown, Minisink, Unionville, Slate Hill, Highland Mills, Chester, Goshen, Washingtonville, Blooming Grove, Sugar Loaf, Middletown, Monroe, Wallkill, Walden, Campbell Hall, and Greenville New York (NY); Sussex, Vernon, Highland Lakes, Wantage Glenwood, Hardyston, Hamburg, McAffee and Hewitt New Jersey (NY); and Milford, Lords Valley, Shohola, and Dingmans Ferry Pennsylvania (PA).
