Mommy and Me Classes - Baby Classes in the Warwick, New York and Vernon New Jersey Area
To address the different developmental stages of very young children, we offer two Parent Child Classes:
One for babies ages 10 to 20 months, and
Another for children 20 months to 4 years of age.
Each class meets one day per week for 55 minutes.

Parent Child Class for 10 to 20 month oldsThis baby class treats you and your child to an hour of fun as you gain support and information from others facing similar joys and concerns. The first part of the program is spent exchanging ideas on planned parenting subjects while the children enjoy toys in a human playpen made by the parents and guardians. We have a long list of popular topics - such as sleeping through the night, sharing parents' bed, medical care choices and babysitting - and everyone is welcome to share their questions.
Our fun songs and puppet shows encourage children to focus on a teacher figure and engage in group activities. The free playtime that follows in our well-planned facility fosters independence and enables caregivers more time to connect and share. Each class closes with a parachute game that keeps everyone entertained and leaves the kids excited about returning each week.
Parent Child Class for 20 months to 4 yearsWith a parent or guardian, children take their first steps to becoming a student. They learn to:
Transition from one fun activity to another
Connect and focus on a teacher figure
Gain an understanding of their personal boundaries
Appropriately use art supplies and toys
Each class includes a theme of the day (counting, being brave of the dark, colors, firefighters are our friends) taught in a fun-filled lesson using art, puppetry, music, movement, free play and a story. As the children play they takes steps towards becoming a good friend and classmate.
