The Kids Club House Math and Science Club is open to children ages 4 to 6 in the Warwick, New York and Vernon, New Jersey area. It consists of a 1 1/2 hour session 1 day per week.

From Outer Space to under the sea and all that's in between is what your little scientists and mathematicians explore in our unique, action-packed math and science classes. Each week our students discover the world around them through hands-on experiments, games, songs and skits. Your young learner will be introduced to an array of inventors - exposing the notion that they too can implement new ideas and create change. You will experience the amazement they'll enjoy as their understanding of the world around them grows.

Recognition of numbers, their value, and sequencing along with a general understanding of addition/subtraction and a conceptual understanding of multiplication/division is taught in VERY FUN WAYS!
The importance of teaching the 1-2-3's
The National Research Council, a well-respected group of academics based in Washington, says we spend a lot of time teaching preschoolers their ABC's, but not nearly enough time teaching the 1-2-3's. They have also reported that preschools need to build upon the basic mathematical concepts grasped in the first year of life so kids aren't left behind when they hit kindergarten. Our Math and Science curriculum is a one-of-a-kind, interactive experience that promises to give our students this important foundation while having lots of silly fun.
