The Red School House in the Warwick Hamlet of Pine Island
Kids Cooking Classes in the Warwick, New York NY and Vernon, New Jersey NJ area
We offer children’s cooking classes for ages 3 to 5
1 1/2 hour session 1 day per week
Bon Appetite, Let’s Eat is the children’s Cooking Class Mantra!
Lil’ Chefs enjoy hands on cooking as they acquire an appreciation for food preparation. Children will begin to develop a lifelong awareness of good food choices as they whip up nutritious, de’lish recipes.
A little help from our culinary friend
Each class our puppet friend Chef Pierre visits with a spice/seasoning for our recipe and a cooking utensil du jour. He uses silly antics to guide the Lil’ Chefs through fun, enticing food creations.
Our recipe for success
The Cooking Club curriculum was created – and is taught – by a qualified teacher with a
degree both in Culinary Arts Education and Food Service Management. She utilizes a creative mix of preschool learning and readiness skills and stresses the importance of safety and sanitation in the kitchen. Each class is sure to dish out a unique, creative outlet for your child.

Comment by Lisa Cunningham Hi Chef Jenn- Comment by Danielle Diglio LOVED the pizza. Is it wrong that I snuck bites to “check the temperature”?? It smelled so good and I was surprised to see the kids gobbling down black olives and tomatoes! Comment by Laurie Arias So sorry we missed this class – Mary Catherine just loves olive pizza. We will have to get the recipe and try it ourselves.
Thanks so much for your message it really made her day. She was so excited that you called. In our home, you have reached rock star status.
Keep up the awesome cooking!! Thanks for being such a great teacher! Comment by Jennifer Hansen
Awesome pizza!! Everybody got a tiny taste and we all loved it. I have to go buy the book. I use a lot of Rachel Ray’s recipes and the kids really do like her stuff. Have a good weekend!
Aidan loved making the pizza- and now pesto is his favorite sauce!!! Looking forward to the next recipe!
Bon Appetite, until we meet, again!
